Northern Loop riders continue to Sun Moon Lake directly from Puli, and stay the night here. You'll climb the mountains around Ren'ai later on, on the queen stage to Wuling Peak.
On the North to South or Round-the-Island routes and want to skip Ren'ai? Take this short stage too, and save yourself a day and a lot of climbing.
